You finally have the pool of your dreams! Now it’s time to accessorize! Adding your unique touch of landscaping and decorating is a great way to personalize your backyard. The first thing to understand is that landscaping goes far beyond just plants. You need to plan an environment around your pool that makes it not only appealing and comfortable, but accessible. You will want to design your landscape plan to not only coordinate with the design of your house but also with the proportion. You also want to choose plants and flowers that don’t shed year round, causing excess debris in your pool and on your deck. Once you have your landscaping in place, it’s time to finish it off with furniture and other items to make your backyard relaxing. Everyone wants their backyard area to be an extension of their home. A place you can eat, nap, relax, enjoy drinks with friends, entertain, and even watch the game on TV! You will want to be sure to create shade for those warm summer days. Lighting is a must if you want to create a welcoming space outdoors. Strings of white LED lights are an economical way to add some extra twinkle to your backyard, though there are a number of other options including pathway lights, torch lights, and more.
