How Much Does a Pool Cost?
Pool Features, Pool Decking, Arizona Landscaping
In most cases, in ground pools are going to cost, on average, between $40-65k. Although this is a very big range, it’s an honest and realistic one.
You may have seen an in ground pool advertised for “$14,999!” in your local paper, but we can assure you that anyone doing this is being very dishonest in giving you a true picture as to what to expect. In other words, although the pool body itself may just cost $14,999 to be installed, the following are not included:
- Patio/Decking around the pool
- Electrical Hookup
- Grading/Landscaping/etc.
- Accessories (Like salt chlorine generators, heaters, covers, etc.)
Swimming pools are often custom designed and finished with endless options, finishes, features and lighting to name a few. Adding creativity to the design, high quality construction with attention to detail, quality equipment and computer controls will affect the overall cost as well.
We often inform clients that a custom pool and spa may start around $65,000 and grow based upon features, finishes, size, etc. A pool only, with no spa or heater, may start at $40,000 and again options are endless. Many of our projects incorporate the latest technology, glass tile, exclusive plaster blends, custom features, fire elements, stone patios, imported stone or other superior choices with price tags in the hundreds of thousands of dollars. If a client knows what they want then we can tailor the finishes to them and accurately price out the pool from there
Obviously, the size, features, equipment, options and more are going to greatly impact where you fall in this “average” range. Visit our portfolio for an overview of a few of our creations or feel free to contact us and we would love to help.
