This unique design places the spa front and center without blocking the view of the pool, water feature, or lush landscape. And the creative design of the scuppers mimics the geometric shape of the travertine stepping stones to blend these strikingly different features.
Welcome to the Sundstrom Project
NEED SUNDSTROM INFO HERE ...This >>>Valley, AZ pool and landscape project.... is a testament to what can be achieved when you select the best design/build pool and landscape company in the state. It took the vision and skill of the entire UNIQUE team to create this complete outdoor living environment in the limited space afforded by this property. But now that it is completed, clearly, the homeowners did not have to sacrifice a single feature or amenity.
The unique shape of the pool and spa is enhanced by the robust pillars and arc feature. The combination of tile and stone on the elevated pool shell create the image of the pool simply rising from the deck. It allows both features to seamlessly blend together as one, to increase the feeling of spaciousness in what is really a small space. No detail was overlooked throughout this outdoor oasis, making it every bit as functional as the living space inside the home, but possibly a bit more breathtaking!
Large travertine pavers are used to create easy access from the house to the pool and spa area. Artificial turf between the travertine provides the softness and splash of lush green needed to offset the hardscape and neutral color palate.
While the pillars and arch with wrought iron ornamentation might appear to be simply an architectural feature, the hidden purpose becomes clear when the water is turned on. This feature adds a visual screen and grey sound for privacy, as well as beauty and impact that are undeniable.
Even in this shallow backyard, the Unique design team was able to masterfully include an outdoor kitchen/BBQ island and dining area. And the Ramada provides a great shaded retreat and entertainment venue.
At night, the gas fireplace creates an inviting glow in the Ramada for relaxing or watching a movie. And on warm nights, the ceiling fan keeps everyone comfortable.
In any other yard, this magnificent pool would be the clear focal point as it shimmers like a huge sapphire. But in this design, the wall of water steals the show as if it were illuminated strings of diamonds.
Even as daylight wanes, the beauty of this outdoor living space continues to radiate. The use of multiple textures in similar colors and tones adds interest without looking too bold or busy for the space.
