The tumbled pavers have enough texture to provide a safe deck surface even for wet feet.
Welcome to the Neilsen Project
This project required a complete overhaul of both the front and back yards. The biggest priority was to add a pool and a jacuzzi and to replace the back patio: it was rapidly deteriorating, and its location on the north side of the house did not allow for much sunlight. To remedy this, our Unique designer planned a larger patio than the original, extending it into the backyard.
- Pool with Multiple Scupper Waterfalls and a Baja Shelf with a Fountain.
- Gas Fire Pit
- BBQ Grill, Refrigerator, Outdoor Kitchen
- Putting Green
- Jacuzzi Spa
The pool features multiple scupper waterfalls and a baja shelf with a fountain.
Durable in-pool furniture made of polyethylene is perfect for a baja shelf.
The blue waterline tile and the glass mosaic on the feature wall add a splash of color and provide a nice contrast to the Belgard pavers.
Multiple entertaining areas make this the perfect yard for a summer pool party or just a small gathering of friends.
At night the pool is easily the focal point of the yard as it glows a deep cobalt blue. But the linear fire inserts are also attracting some attention.
Landscape lighting adds depth and interest to the entire yard at night. The shadows of the plants look like works of art on the back wall.
The gas fire pit is filled with natural lava rock and capped with tile to provide addition seating when not in use as a fire pit.
As night falls, the rest of the world disappears into the darkness but this yard is well lit and ready to be enjoyed.
From a seat in the therapeutic Jacuzzi you have the perfect view of all this space has to offer.
Standing at the BBQ island gives you a view of the entire living space which includes the pool, Jacuzzi, gas fire pit, outdoor kitchen, water features and even linear fire boxes along the pool.
This Alumawood shade structure provides the perfect outdoor dining area even before the sun goes down.
The redesigned front yard now complements the lines and design features of this Mediterranean style home. The path to the front door is now well lit and inviting.
