The wall between the pool and the sunken Ramada serves as the perfect place to enjoy a snack or cool drink. Seating inside the pool and inside the Ramada allow everyone to share in the fun.
Welcome to the Heuple Project
This complete pool and landscape package turned a simple Anthem backyard into a completely functional and fabulous outdoor extension of the home. Over 1500 square feet of additional living space was added with this tiered patio that offers a sunken Ramada, the main level, and two elevated seating areas. The travertine pavers used for the patio are also used as the pool and spa coping and the wall caps in the Ramada to create continuity throughout this extended outdoor living space. The fire pit is constructed of the same travertine and blue glass tile that is used in the pool at the waterline.
This project features something for everyone as it includes a beautiful pool and spa combo, a putting green, a gas fire pit, and a full outdoor kitchen. And when it is time to relax in the shade, guests can retire to the over 350 square feet of covered patio to relax in the Ramada and enjoy good conversation or a great movie on the big screen TV. While there are other homes in close proximity, the exquisite design of this project provides a feeling of privacy and tranquility that is often missing in most neighborhood outdoor living spaces.
The tiered patio flows seamlessly, and at night low voltage lighting helps to mark the steps for added safety as guests move to the Ramada or up to the fire pit.
The spacious Ramada offers all of the comforts found inside this home but with a far better view. And refreshments are just a step away. It is a signature feature of Chris Griffin, owner of Unique and a certified engineer.
The sunken Ramada provides the perfect vantage point to enjoy the entire space. This Unique design requires added engineering to ensure the integrity needed to support the soil and weight of the water in the pool.
The scupper water features mirror the spillway from the spa to the pool to create the calming sound of gently moving water throughout the yard. The pillars and water feature wall create additional privacy for those who are enjoying the pool.
This round gas fire pit mimics the shape of the spa and uses both the travertine from the patio and the waterline tile from the pool. The design is simple yet elegant.
Each living space in this yard is clearly delineated but also flows well together much like the function of an open floor plan home. From the spa to the pool and then to relax in a chaise lounge, each feature is just a few steps away.
The landscape lighting and pool light up the yard as the rest of the world disappears into the darkness. But with fire bowls and the fire pit, the fun here is just beginning.
At night the pool comes alive and radiates a soft blue light. The curves of the freeform pool soften the very geometric shape of the house and the yard creating a very Unique style.
This BBQ island features a gas grill, faucet and sink, storage doors and an ice chest/drink station as well as a circular seating area with an umbrella stand. The location keeps the heat from the grill away from other living spaces and safe for everyone enjoying the yard.
This multi-hole putting green provides a lush soft feel to balance the hardscape of the extended patio while still adding to the functionality of the yard. Adults and kids alike will enjoy this fun feature.
The view from this covered lounge is nothing but relaxing as you overlook the pool and three scupper waterfalls.
