The negative edge pool appears to just hang over the desert and mirror the color of the sky. The only sounds are the gentle waterfall and the crackling of the fire.
Welcome to the Dick Project
NEEDS DICK DESCRIPTION (this is arnold duplicate) The impact of moving water is a theme throughout this design. From each living space you have a UNIQUE view of one of the spectacular water features. Your eye moves from the negative edge pool that appears to be hovering over the desert to the shear descent waterfall at the raised sunbathing platform to the negative edge spa perched above the pool and outdoor kitchen to provide the perfect view of the skyline below.
- Negative Edge Pool
- Negative Edge Spa
- Shear Descent Scupper
- Scabos Travertine Pavers
- Outdoor Kitchen
The Scabos travertine pavers provide a beautiful surface with just enough texture for safe footing on the steps and potentially wet surfaces near the pool and spa. And the earth tones blend seamlessly with the natural surroundings.
The custom pergola provides shade for the summer months and the outdoor speakers add to the atmosphere during a party or just on a relaxing afternoon in the pool.
This pergola offers plenty of shaded seating without blocking any of the view of the mountains or the rest of the features of this yard.
Lounging by the pool is the perfect place to watch the sun set and then enjoy the soft glow of the gas flames that are lighting the upper terrace.
The grand 30 foot fireplace creates the feeling of intimacy even in this very large and open space.
Only a truly massive fireplace could serve as a focal point when the view is as spectacular as this one. But at 30 feet tall, this gas burning fire place draws its share of the attention.
